Let's get one thing straight..... Marie LOVES green tea ice-cream. She first had a scoop on day one from a small shop in the Old Quarter and she was pleased with the taste. Then we passed Starbucks and went in for a green tea frapaccino. Then when we ventured into the French Quarter, we happened upon a little shop that sold green tea kit kats and so we bought one for Marie as a surprise. We told her once we were outside the shop - so not a huge surprise really and she was so excited that she raced back into the shop and bought whatever the lady had left on the shelf as well as a Häagen-Dazs green tea ice-cream (the original)
We all tasted the kit kats and the jury is still out on whether they are any good, but the ice-cream definitely has merit.
The frapaccino is my favourite.
